In order to obtain minimum standards of excellence ERYF hasminimum requirements for Coaches and Team Moms.
All Head Coaches, Team Moms, and Assistant Coaches must complete a Pop Warner Volunteer Application AND submit to a background screening and be cleared to coach and be approved by the board.
All Football and Cheerleading Coaches & Team Parents must must complete a Pop Warner Coaching Clinic and an online USA Football course. Contact email@example.com if you want to volunteer so we can help you take your course.
All Head Coaches and Head Cheer Coaches should complete a Red Cross or recognized first aid course.
All Football Coaches, Cheer Coaches and Team Moms must attend the 4 hour SE Region & Mid Florida Coaches training which includes information on Pop Warner Rules & Philosophy, Risk Management and the Pop Warner Code of Conduct.
The Head Coach and Assistant Head Coach of the Tiny Mite program must also complete the additional Tiny Mite training class. Only individuals that have been Tiny Mite certified will be allowed on the sidelines for these games. This includes all roster staff including team parents.
Head Coaches will be selected based on their acumen and ability to communicate a detailed coaching philosophy. All Coaches will be expected to participate in off season continuing education as provided by East Ridge Youth Football.
